My career as a creator began by welcoming the opportunity as a full-time trainee for a year in a sign and car-decor company after finishing high school. At the same time I also did some freelance design work and some volunteering at the side. Because of this I was given a chance as the only in-house graphic designer for Hermon Publishing House for two and a half years and gathered much practical experience in the field.
I then realised that I still had a lot to learn in the the industry, especially at theoretical level. I decided to study at Westerdals Oslo ACT with the goal of «learning» creativity. I couldn’t wait to put everything I have gathered over these years to good use – to help people communicate and understand each other.
After my completed BA, I jumped into freelance design. I started out as a junior digital designer for TRY/Apt, where I stuck around for nine months, doing identity work, webdesign and animation and banners. After this longer period, I have had lesser digital projects for Face2Face Design & Communication as well as Gambit Hill+Knowlton Strategies. More recently I have worked for JCP Nordic, with both digital work and print.
My creative goal – whatever the medium – is to collect and deliver unexplored thoughts and messages within the subjects of what I’ve been assigned. I create several directions within the better messages and am not happy with what I have until I find something new, and something that inspires different thinking.
